Grand final took place on saturday 06th of february and the first great winner is the german 
Marius, from ScrewD team, who really dominated this final. He deserve the big prize which is a brand new Netbook Acer Ferrari one 200, and will receive receive it in the nest days. Congratulation to him !

"The contest was really nice! Of course a bit unlucky with youtube before the qualification, so that some players couldn't play, but the extra servers were the right answer for that problem. Anyway 70 players in the final were too much now. Many players had lags and therefore less chances to win. The maps were new for everybody. But I know such a kind of maps. And sometimes I took part at events with long unknown maps. So it wasn't completely new for me to drive these maps. Surely that was an advantage for me. :D Most tracks were nice to drive but some were frustrating. Like Chocalote cut. There were some parts where you needed luck. Therefore some players hated this map. But all in all there was a nice variation in these maps. Tech jumps dirt and so on. Another problem was how to handle with cuts. Anyway it was decided that they are allowed so I looked for them. Sometimes there were planned cuts in the maps. In the final I only cutted one time on Chocolate CUT. It was riskfull but it worked and it was allowed so why not?
Anyway it's better to deny cuts in next contests, because the TMN players don't like them. You saw that on server. I'm proud to get this netbook. I saw that it's a very good one and I'm proud that Trackmania offers the chance to get big prices. That makes this game very interesting and maybe there'll come new players because of these contests. On the second podium step we can see 
Hakki Junior from YoYoTech. Despite a normal start, he managed to earn enaugh points, particulary on the last map which was more technic, to reach the second position and will receive the Acer Aspire one 751 Netbook.

"I loved that kind of tournament which evaluate skill depending of players adaptation on maps. I wasn't that bad on the first and the second map, but thanks to the third one which was more in my driving style, i earned enaugh points to make a gap with others to reach this second position. I'm really empressed to receive my netbook, i would like to thanks Acer and MiniTechNet for their investment in this game."
On the third position it's Scream, another german player from Infused, who succeed to pass through all strong drivers and who deserve his nice prize, a new Acer Aspire one 250.

"After I heard from the Tournament I just signed in for it. I was really excited because noone could nolife, so its just about skill and experience. The Maps from the Groups were fun but very tricky :D - WHen the Finals started I thought I had no chance with that strong drivers, but I wanted to give it a try. The maps from Kryw were fun, but u needed much luck. At least I'm totally happy to receive a brand new Netbook Acer 250 from MiniTechNet and sponsors. Thank you." Infused.Scream
