While NC5 just closed, another big splash is merging in the community! Indeed, UBITEAM team which recently had won the STC6, just announced that the most famous InFerno players will join line-up of the French structure!

UBITEAM ready to fight!

You will understand, this is almost a mix of the two last stc finalists ! Almost as this is concerning "only" five players from Inferno. We can find in this renegade nothing less than the best Italian player who is none other than Legend and three very knowns Frenchs: Chapo, Kb8 and Tannis. Beppo is completing the package to strengthen that Italian flair.

Note also the return of Dridrione, the most Chinese French. He decided to make his comeback after a long absence "signing" in the French structure. UBITEAM is now equiped for the 2010 Trackmania war against  Power-Gaming,  Dignitas and  YoYoTech principally. With a line-up of a rare quality and density, no team seems able to scare them anymore!

To learn a bit more, TM-Actu went to Stones, Captain of the UBITEAM.trackmania roster.

TM-Actu: Hello Stones. Can you introduce yourself to our readers?

Stones: Yo Boub. So I'm Peter Schmidlin, I'm 20 years old and I'm in school design. I am currently captain of the trackmania section in UBITEAM for around a year.

We just learned that many of Inferno joined you. Can we learn more about the reasons that made it happen and how this "transfer" was made?

After many departures, inf.tox were lack of staff and had a hard time having a complete line-up for each match. I already imagined the team to separate and disperse in big multigaming. So I went to them to offer to all remaining motivated players to join us. At this moment we began the playoffs of STC6 and therefore they wanted to finish the competition to see exactly what is InFerno. So we kept in touch throughout the STC until they make the point. And now, after a meeting of all InFerno players, they decided that Tannis, Chapo, KB8, Legend and Beppo join us.

The line-up now UBITEAM is impressive in its density and size. We know that significant restrictions on enrollment will take place for the next Premiership. How to understand this you?

 Well I hope that these changes are not final and that the ESL staff will respond to requests from trackmania players. We are simply adapted to the rules of the ESL, because last season the players limit was set as 15. Faced with international teams such as yoyotech or powergaming, a French team is forced to have lots of players to keep the motivation to compete with these teams and we would be very saddened to see a rule that goes against our desire to play together .

Besides the goal of "performing" in online competitition, UBITEAM is it looking through these recruitment to give greater importance at LAN events with players like Chapo, Tannis or Legend?

No it's not really the goal, but it is certain that many new recruits will continue to do the lANs party.

Do you fear that with such a quantity of players, some lower skilled should feel like being "outsiders"?

Honestly not. This problem already should happen before but I think all our players are completing each other very well. And even after the arrival of these new players, the line-up is still very homogeneous and each has its place!

Finally, at the peril of his life, your reporter tried to pull up some few words on Tannis, who is to TrackMania what Kimi Räikkönen is to the Rally!

TM-Actu: Hi Tannis. Can you give us a little bit more informations about the reasons that led you to leave InFerno and which pushed you in the UBITEAM organisation?

Tannis: Since many of our players (Papou, Ned and others) have expressed a desire to stop playing in competition, it would be very difficult for us to continue to play the same level as we were playing these months.

We were not enough anymore and so we had to explore different ways to be both the most efficient possible and continuing playing together.

We felt that joining ubi was the best solution to reach these objectives because they are clearly very good and we get along pretty well with them, despite what they inflicted us just a week ago.

I think we're pretty well equipped to claim the best places possible in future team competitions, starting with the next esl premiership.
