As we have seen recently, Bergie has the will to definitely change things within the TrackMania team of Team Dignitas, which was previously continually lacking of players in online competitions. |
With the arrival of new players such as Rzrbane, Kewin, beef, Munkeholm and Haktiv, the team has improved considerably for online competitions, but now with Karjen, one wonders what Odee (Dignitas CEO) and Bergie have in mind.
Indeed, Karjen is not the most active player this year, he will not participate to the WCG, and has not been very active in team competitions, so what would be his part in Dignitas?
Surely it was time to catch the young WCG 2009 champion under contract thanks to the continual sinking of Power Gaming and to have some reserves against their direct competitors that are now Direct Method and YoYoTECH.
After Power Gaming kicked their Trackmania-squad yesterday, I approached KarjeN and said I was interested in recruiting him to my family. He later came to me and said he wanted to join us, and of course I am very happy that he is part of Team Dignitas.tmnf today. Dignitas|Bergie
The real question is then why do we see players leaving Power Gaming one by one. The answer seems clear enough, yesterday was announced the dismissal of the entire TM line-up. The current TM manager, flow, had promised a lot of nice things pwr was not able to give and of which they had no real idea.
To summarize, it is clear that Odee decided to increase the stakes in the competitiveness of its TrackMania line-up to face any situation in the future, a good thing for this team that is becoming increasingly important within this renowned international structures.
Here is the impressive composition of the Team Dignitas:
Fredrik "Bergie" Bergmann (captain)
Jonathan "DarkY" Holmes
Sean "HotSwat" Walsh
Edoardo "L3genD" Mariotti
Pedro "Moriah" Benjamim
Maurice "rzrbane" Huuskes
Henry "Insane" Kyynäräinen
Robert "Tamarillo" Crone
Niklas "Viper" Green Jørgensen
Kewin "Kewin" Zetterlund
Kenneth "beef" Kjelme
Sonny "Munkeholm" Hansen
Rick "Hacktiv" van den Berg
Jesper "KarjeN" Karjalainen
After analysis of the current team, it is quite possible that the plan is to qualify the most players as possible for ESWC and WCG competitions with no less than nine different nations that may be represented by a bearer of yellow and black and winning national competitions in nine European countries. That was the choice YoYoTECH made with 9 nations represented on their side as well.
When I look at our lineup now, I can proudly say I am honoured to be part of this team. We have a great mix of talents and experienced players, and with the addition of KarjeN I believe we will surely fight for the top spot in every team tournament we decide to participate in. Dignitas|Bergie
We wish good luck to this new team and to Karjen in this new adventure which begins for him.
